Guest Bedroom & Family Room, Mullica Hill New Jersey
Design completed November 2016.

This client came to BC via Laurel & Wolf. She had recently finished her basement and proclaimed to me that she had a lot of nice things, but didn't know the first thing about putting them together. For the Guest Bedroom, everything is new except the bed frame. The idea was to create a calming, neutral zone that would delight any guest staying with the family as well as make it a functional space that the client could work in when guests weren't around. A large rug and the bench at the end of the bed help to anchor the bed space from the sitting and desk spaces. Most items are sourced from Crate & Barrel, West Elm, and Ballard Designs.

The family room already had most of the furnishings, so the job was to help it all come together with selecting the perfect, large rug, lamp and side table, art, and accessories. The room went from bland to calm and beautiful with the use of blue tones throughout to pull from her existing architecture. A gallery wall of family photos completes the space by helping to give a blank wall purpose and complete the overall feeling of the family room.
