Little Cocoa Bean is the first of its kind "Tot Cafe" - a place for young babies and toddlers to eat, play, and learn along with their caretakers. Dreamed up by the marvelous Tracy Skelly after she had her first child. Taryn was with her from the beginning conceptualization of the cafe and the space.

Through a close-knit collaboration, client and designer developed the small space into a multifunctional space for parents, caretakers, and their babes. The front houses a cafe serving up healthy small bites for toddlers, smoothies, and coffee as well as retail items for feeding littles.

There is also a custom-designed toddler play area so the kids can play while the adults have some coffee. The back is broken into an educational classroom and a manager’s office. In addition to this space, Taryn also designed a pop-up for Little Cocoa Bean at The Current in Seaport which was more retail focused.
